Sites We Recommend
The sites listed here aren't random ads. They're services that have been used, tested, and recommended by people who've spent years in the lifestyle and swinger communities. We list them because they genuinely work for the purpose they serve, and we think they complement what Casual Encounter offers.
Full disclosure: some of these are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up through them. Others are simply sites we think are worth knowing about. Affiliate or not, we only list things we'd genuinely recommend. This doesn't cost you anything extra.
SwingLifestyle
The largest and most active swinger community site in the United States. If you're a couple or an individual looking to connect with the swinger/lifestyle community, SLS is where the most people are. It's been around for over two decades and has the user base to show for it.
Best for: Couples and singles looking for lifestyle connections, event listings, club directories, and an established community with active forums and chat.
Worth knowing: Free accounts let you browse, but a paid membership unlocks messaging and full profile access. The interface isn't going to win any design awards, but the user base more than makes up for it. If you're serious about exploring the lifestyle, this is the first place to look.
Kasidie
A swinger community that tends to attract a younger, more modern crowd compared to SLS. Particularly well populated in major metro areas and along the west coast. The site itself is more polished and the event/party features are well done.
Best for: People in larger cities, younger couples getting into the lifestyle, and anyone who values a more modern user experience. Their event and travel features are standout.
Worth knowing: Coverage outside major metros can be thin depending on your area. If you're in or near a large city, it's excellent. If you're rural, SLS may have more people near you.
SDC
The most popular swinger community outside the United States. If you're traveling internationally or are based outside North America, SDC has the strongest global presence. They also have a solid US user base, particularly in areas with international communities.
Best for: International users, travelers, and anyone looking to connect with the lifestyle community outside of North America. Also worth having alongside SLS or Kasidie for broader reach.
Worth knowing: The platform caters to a global audience, so the vibe and community norms may vary by region. Their event directory is extensive, especially in Europe and Latin America.
How these relate to Casual Encounter
Casual Encounter is a classifieds platform for one-off encounters. The sites above are community platforms for ongoing lifestyle participation. They serve different purposes but often complement each other. Someone who posts a listing here looking for a couple might find that a community site gives them access to a larger, more established group of people who are actively looking.
We believe in being upfront about what we are and what we're not. These sites fill gaps that we don't try to fill, and we'd rather point you toward them honestly than pretend they don't exist.
We'll continue adding to this list as we find services worth recommending. If you know of something we should look at, let us know at support@casualencounter.org.
