How Replies Work

When you respond to a listing, your message is sent directly to the listing owner via email. This is a one-way message -the listing owner cannot reply to you through this site.

Including your contact information

If you want the listing owner to be able to get back to you, include a way to contact you. Common options:

• The "your email" field on the reply form -the simplest option
• An alternative contact method in your message body -Telegram handle, Kik username, a throwaway email, or whatever you're comfortable sharing

If you don't include any contact information, the listing owner will receive your message but will have no way to respond to you.

Privacy

Your account email address is never shared with the listing owner. The only information sent is what you explicitly type in the reply form. Your username is also not shared -responses are anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself.

Tips for a good response

• Be specific about what you're interested in -generic "hey" messages are almost always ignored
• Be respectful and straightforward -people appreciate directness
• Include your preferred contact method if you want to hear back
• Read the listing carefully before responding -make sure you match what they're looking for

Rate limits

To prevent spam, you can send up to 5 replies per hour. This resets automatically.

For listing owners

When someone responds to your listing, you'll receive an email with their message. If they included their email address or other contact info, you can reach out to them directly using whatever method they provided.

If you no longer want to receive response notifications, every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also unsubscribe here.
